Koala Youth Hotel&Hostel - Xiamen

I had a great stay at this hotel. the location was perfect - it was very close to the popular shopping street where I found amazing local food. Secondly, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. And lastly, the room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed. it was a great experience.

The only minor issue was some dust on the walls, but everything else was fine.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel in Xiamen. the location was fantastic, being very close to the bustling and popular shopping street. Lastly, the staff were friendly and provided great service. They were always willing to help and assist with any queries or requests. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Plus, the staff was super friendly and helpful, always available to answer any question and to give great recommendations for places to eat and visit. the rooms were cozy, clean and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. the breakfast offered a variety of options and was included in the price of the room which is a great added value. my experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.

the communal areas can get quite crowded and noisy during peak hours, especially during the New Year's eve celebration which made it hard to relax and unwind.

This made asking for simple things, such as directions or recommendations, frustrating and difficult. Additionally, I was disappointed by the lack of amenities in the hostel, such as wifi and reliable air conditioning. On some nights, I felt like the A/C could conk off any minute. These shortcomings detracted from the overall experience and made it less enjoyable than it could have been.
